YSL spring/summer 2011

Yves Saint Laurent's spring 2011 collection is the star feature in this film starring Arizona Muse, directed by Stefano Pilati in collaboration with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Set in the 1930s Villa Bled Roknine in Marrakech’s Palmeraie, the film is a stunning and mesmerizing creative representation of the spring/summer collection.

playful photoshoot

Karlie Kloss models the latest spring collections in this editorial for AnOther shot by Walter Pfeiffer, featuring work of Missoni, Prada, Hermes and more. The shoot is drenched in vibrant colour, and with varying backgrounds and backdrops each shot has a completely different story to tell. It's nice to see Kloss do something a little different!

lively's looks

It appears that playing the sophisticated and stylish Serena van der Woodsen, and being exposed to a magnificent wardrobe filled with couture including Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, and Louboutin, has rubbed off on Blake Lively, who is one the few celebrities who knows exactly what to wear and looks amazing on the red carpet without a stylist. Karl Lagerfeld has also picked up on the buzz surrounding Blake, and it was recently announced she would be the new face of the Chanel bag campaign, joining the likes of Keira Knightly, Lily Allen, Vanessa Paradis, Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tatou, all previous Chanel muses. Below are a few of my favorite of her fashion picks that, in my opinion, make her one worthy to look out for in the future!

Below are pictures from the campaign

decadent detail

Emilio Pucci  - A/W 11/12

Emilio Pucci's 2011/2012 autumn/winter collection really stood out for me. With bold baroque prints, exquisite attention to detail and dresses embracing the fuller female silhouette, the  mature collection is not for the fainthearted, but for the confident woman who wants to stand out. A timelessly classy collection that is definitely a departure from the norm.
