It appears that playing the sophisticated and stylish Serena van der Woodsen, and being exposed to a magnificent wardrobe filled with couture including Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, and Louboutin, has rubbed off on Blake Lively, who is one the few celebrities who knows exactly what to wear and looks amazing on the red carpet without a stylist. Karl Lagerfeld has also picked up on the buzz surrounding Blake, and it was recently announced she would be the new face of the Chanel bag campaign, joining the likes of Keira Knightly, Lily Allen, Vanessa Paradis, Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tatou, all previous Chanel muses.
