I WANT.
Proena Schouler Pre-Spring 2011 Jewelery
A quirky combination of bungee cord and semi- precious stones to create an original, colourful statement necklace, the perfect piece of jewelery to brighten up any grey winter outfit...
fashion is art?
Julie Eilenberger's collection is stunning reminder that the lines and boundaries between art and fashion are often, crossed blurred and merged. I love the various different textures and the modern space-age aesthetic of the pieces, definitely something a little different.
Enjoy!

the power of red.
Red lipstick can be intimidating. But when worn in the right way, one simple slick of red lipstick can totally transform an outfit, adding heaps of style, elegance and class. The next time you are a little lost for inspiration simply reach for that red lipstick and carry the look off with confidence.

he/she ?
When seeing the above photo of Andrej Pejic, the hottest model of the moment, one may need to take a figure out whether it is a he or a she.
It appears that the next new face of fashion may be blurring the lines between the two genders. Andrej Pejic, a 19 year old Serbian-Australian model, has fully embraced his androgynous looks, and in turn the fashion world has fully embraced him. He has already worked for Jean Paul Gaultier in his spring 2011 men's show, and currently stars in the Marc by Marc Jacobs spring 2011 campaign (see below).
Below are more shots of models playing with the boundaries of gender all for the name of fashion and art...

golden globes 2011
My favourites...
Angelina Jolie
Emma Stone
Diana Agron
Olivia Wilde
January Jones
Claire Danes
Anne Hathaway
Natalie Portman
As a fan of bright colours and something a little different, I was excited to see that instead of opting for safe and fail-proof black dresses, last night at the Golden Globes Hollywood's leading ladies turned up in an array of different colours and styles, varying from emerald greens, to browns, hot reds, pinks, oranges and yellows! Emma Stone's classic Calvin Klein and January Jones' Versace dresses are two of my favourites, both classic dresses and styles with a modern and edgy twist. I can't wait to see what the Oscars bring!
